The Capital Craft Beer Festival started in 2013, and we opened Capital Craft Beer Academy the following year, in 2014. The Academy is all about pairing great food with the best of South Africa's craft beer scene. We're based in Menlo Park, Pretoria, and we've built a reputation for offering a laid-back atmosphere, quality service, and a seriously impressive drinks list. We've got over 240 local and international beers, with 38 of those on tap. For those who aren't beer lovers, we also offer a full wine, cocktail, and spirit selection. Our kitchen is just as much of a focus. The menu ranges from gourmet burgers and ribs to lighter options like salads and poke bowls. Everything is made fresh, thanks to our on-site bakery and smokehouse. We're open seven days a week, and we definitely recommend booking during peak hours because it gets very busy. Our mission has always been to create a welcoming space where people can discover and enjoy a wide range of craft beers, paired with great food and friendly service. We're passionate about educating the public on the craft industry and encouraging people to get involved. Our vision is to one day become the oldest pub in South Africa.
