Coming in at 13.5% this beer is incredibly dense, deep and complex. Old Cellar Double Barrel Aged Barleywine - Old Cellar is a silky, luxurious Barleywine aged for two years in first a bourbon, then a dessert wine barrel. This extravagant ale will keep you warm this winter and is best enjoyed by the fire with a book. Live Culture Cuvee – The latest edition of our flagship wild ale, this is a cuvee of multiple vintages agedbetweenone and six years. This beer showcases the dynamic flavour and evolution of our mixed yeast culture. Soulenator Eisbock – Eisbocks have a history of being brewed and consumed by Bavarian monks as "liquid bread" during times of fasting. This version was aged in American Bourbon barrels for three years, then frozen in stages to reach a concentration of 18%. Co-Op Saison - This is a Belgian farmhouse ale that honours the heritage of our cellar by using local ingredients from the farm. It is brewed with freshly picked fruit from the farm, Franschhoek Lavender & lemon peel, blue sage from our garden and wheat we malted in the old wine cellar. Fresh Nectar Grapefruit – The popular Grapefruit edition of our juicy pale ale is back! Fresh Nectar is a juicy, hazy pale ale that explores the boundaries of how much hop & citrus flavour can be packed into a beer. Ale of Origin 2018 Vintage – A new vintage of our Spontaneously fermented, South African Lambic that shows the breadth of flavours yeast, oak and terroir can bring. Ale of Origin is part of our journey to make beers with a sense of time and place that are uniquely South African. Oatmeal Stout - Rich and satisfying, this silky stout proves beer isn't just for breakfast anymore. The roasted dark malts bring flavours of expresso, milk chocolate, almonds and raisins and lend a dry finish that invites you to come back for more. ontapmag.co.za | Winter 2023 | 15
