This medal was earned in the English-Style Dark Mild Ale category (notably not a gluten free category!). To win, they competed with 1,465 entries from 43 countries – yet another reason this is a major achievement! South Africa’s “Cult Country Beer Festival” taking place in April has launched a new app! FOOLS & FANS Buchanan’s Brewery and tasting room is now open at Manley Wine Estate in Tulbagh. The tasting room is open from Wednesday to Sunday and opening hours are displayed on their Facebook page, "Buchanan's Brewery". They typically have seven different beers on tap and snacks and merchandise are available. Seating is indoors or outdoors on the lawns. Considering that over 1,800 beers competed at this event, bringing home a medal was a real ‘win’!
