LEBONA MOLELI EVENT RECAP BEER,MEAT & BANDS FESTIVAL, LESOTHO T he fifth edition of the Beer, Meat and Bands Festival took place on Saturday 29 October at Baduza Family Park in Maseru, Lesotho. Launched a few years ago, the annual lifestyle festival is one of Lesotho’s premium events. After a two-year absence due to Covid-19 restrictions, this year’s lifestyle event was back with a bang and attracted beer and music lovers from across the Kingdom of Lesotho, Eswatini, Botswana and South Africa. The festival featured several Lesotho local bands including the popular music group Origin Musiq as well as South African singer and songwriter Lady Zamar. Patrons were also treated to delicious meats on braai and the local favourite Likahare - a dish of stewed tripe. Beers started flowing on taps from as early as 10am until late into the evening. Eight beers were served on tap including the local Maluti Lager and newly launched Mohope Premium Craft Beer.
