It is a part of the world that produces high quality beer, award winning, in fact, and has some of the most picturesque spaces in South Africa. Great initiatives have come out of the province, such as the relatively recent Beer Passport, that enables craft beer enthusiasts to interact with local taprooms throughout South Africa and collect a stamp at each location. Around the same time as Beer Route launched nationally, brewers launched the KZN Craft Revolution website. So, with all that said, it’s about time we give the area a route in the magazine. Meander from Durban to the Drakens- burg, stay over for a few nights and enjoy this Beer Route along the way.
