W hen the opportunity arose to visit Prague and the Czech Republic for a conference, I immediately said yes. I have been keen to visit Prague for a long time. The Czech Republic has a famous beer culture, and is especially famous for being the country where pilsner beer was first brewed in 1842. Czech lager has its own BJCP category, including Czech Pale Lager (3A), Czech Premium Pale Lager (3B), Czech Amber Lager (3C) and Czech Dark Lager (3D).
