SEPTEMBER NOVEMBER OCTOBER 12 Hoedspruit Craft Beer Festival Details are still to be confirmed, but the little town of Hoedspruit will be hosting a little beer fest with local breweries and live music. Hoedspruit Brew Co., Hoedspruit 01 Kei Beer Fest Back for the first time since the pandemic hit, the Kei Beer Fest features brews from East London microbrewery, Table 58, as well Emerald Vale and SAB. As well as beer and gin there will be live music, food stalls and a kids’ play area. Tickets R50, under 18s free. Kei Mouth Country Club, Kei Mouth 29 Beer, Meat & Bands Festival Check out five local bands on the stage, premium meats on the fire and 16 beers on tap, including Mohope’s craft lager. Tickets R150. Baduza Family Park, Maseru Mall, Maseru, Lesotho 24 Umqombothi Competition The third annual Umqombothi Competition will be judged in Johannesburg on Heritage Day, with a masterclass and brewer tips as well as the judging and prize-giving. Agar’s Brewery, Kya Sands, Johannesburg 01- 02 Milnerton Oktoberfest This two-day festival and market will feature a range of local breweries, food trucks and other vendors. The historic Victorian ballroom will be transformed into a beerhall with live music, entertainment and family-friendly fun. Jansen Hall, Milnerton, Cape Town 28 Beer Tour d’Sabie Join for Sabie’s second annual bicycle pub crawl, kicking off at Sabie BrewingCo. at 11am.
