AFRICAN BEER CUP 2024 This year is the fifth edition of the African Beer Cup, which has quickly grown to become the largest beer competition in Africa. Online registration opens on 26 February and you can enter your beers on the website until 12 April. Physical beers submissions are open from 15 April until 3 May, with judging taking place in Cape Town from 18-21 May. This year more than 50 judges from 14 different countries will assess the beers, with every entry being judged twice. The competition is open to any commercially operating brewery in Africa. BEERCHAMP LAUNCHES FREE BEER JUDGING APP Gone are the days of tedious administrative tasks associated with managing beer competitions. Beerchamp streamlines the entire process, allowing organizers to focus on the essence of their events while ensuring a fun and fair judging experience for everyone involved. Beerchamp launched the product with its first official club competition in partnership with the Helderberg Homebrew Club in February 2024 at Triggerfish Brewing.
